Dearly beloved,
Greetings and Welcome to December 2016- The Month of Overtake.
We are grateful to God for bringing
us to the last month of the year of Jubilee. God’s promise to us this month is
that we will recover all that we lost prior to now.
In 1 Samuel 30, the Amalekites
captured all that was dear to David and burnt down the city of Ziklag. David
asked God “Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And God
answered him “Pursue, for thou shall surely overtake them and without fail,
recover all.” David did just that and true to God’s word, he was able to
overtake and recover all.
Note that in order to recover all,
he first of all had to pursue. He made a move and the outcome was complete
recovery. This month God is urging us to do exactly what David did with the
promise of getting what he got- Overtake and Recover.
The Lord is there to back us up in
the Name of Jesus and by the grace of God, we will pursue, overtake the enemy
and recover all that belongs to us. God bless you all.
